Schofield Street While browsing some old photo's I came across this. It was taken in Schofield St., Nechells in about 1956-57. It must have been taken up the entry at the back, (back to backs) because you can see the old brew house window with the metal bars in the top left. That's me in the middle with (looking at the picture) Robert Bowman on the left in the check shirt and his brother Kenny on the right. I don't know who the others are, but I think they were sisters and brother by the name of Moore. What makes this picture for me is the expression on the little girls face on the right, to coin a well used expression "enigmatic", can't really see if she was sad, happy or contented?
