PLEASE NOTE: We would like members to do mini profiles of themselves, for our Newsletter in which we would like to include a passport style photo. This could lead to members being reunited with long lost school pals, friends or neighbours. MEMBERS PHOTOGRAPHS: Where are all those photos of you taken between the ages of five to ten, plus one of you as you are now. Very few have been handed in. Come on members, don’t be shy, we need these for a special members Christmas quiz. DONATIONS: Thank you to Joy Illguth, Brian Harding, Brian Round, Paddy Gill and Joan Rogers, for donations given. REUNIONS: (St Vincents & Vauxhall is being held on Friday October 6th). JOY ILLGUTH: Special thanks to Joy, while she was in England on a long Family History fact finding holiday, she made time to give us about 10 hours help with our Computer work, gave us some equipment and most of all helped us with some problems we were having with our old PC. Joy has now returned to Australia but we would just like to say a big ‘Thank You’ to her. SUBSCRIPTIONS: There are still some Members who have not yet paid this years subscriptions, can all members please try to pay their subscriptions by April of each year. NEXT MEETING: Wednesday 23rd August at Bloomsbury Library, 10.30am for 11am start, due to us not being able to arrange a visit, our August meeting will be a slide show or film supplied by Brian Harding. The September 27th meeting will be a talk by David Cross who is the Curator of the Police Museum. Please remember to bring or send your photographs in…………………
